From wide, tree-lined roads to forest tracks, from valleys to Arctic mountains, from towns to remote hamlets, by car or even on foot, I've discovered countless lovely places I'm eager to share with you. This adventure is for anyone who doesn't want to break the bank renting a car, who doesn't want to or can't hike long distances, but who has a thirst for exploration and to discover Lapland far beyond the charming resort of Levi. Let's take this ride together!"

ENVIRONMENT: On countryside and in a natural environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk and stay in a snowy and cold environment

Free for children under 5 years old.
Price includes: the private mode of the trip (= not mixed with other people/groups), local transportation, the use of the hiking gear (backpacks, snowshoes, hiking poles, sustainable Kupilka dishware, thermos flasks...), a meal mainly made of organic and/or local food, warm drinks, guiding work in English or French, pictures, and taxes.
Price does not include: your round-trip home-Lapland-home, your clothing, which must be adjusted to a hike in the polar cold (ask for advice from the guide, the possibility of renting in town), your liability insurance, your health coverage, alcohol, and souvenirs

ITINERARY (the exact places aren't released here to protect the guide's work)
STOP 1: LANDSCAPE
We hike 150 m and climb to the top of a birdwatching tower to contemplate the vastness of a bog area
STOP 2: LANDSCAPE & SMALL TOWN
We hike 200 m down to the shores of the frozen river of Ounasjoki and have a stop in a Lappish hut to drink something warm. Also, you discover life in a remote village.
STOP 3: PANORAMA
We stop and admire the view on the mounts of Pallastunturi National Park. It's a historical landmark too.
STOP 4: LUNCH
We hike 300 m to gather around a bonfire on the shores of a magnificent lake to eat lunch.
STOP 5: ORNITHOLOGY
If we're lucky, this spot is visited by the national bird of Finland: the Whooper Swan
STOP 6: PANORAMA
You get a different view over the mountains of Pallas National Park.
STOP 7: CULTURE
We hike 300 m to a place filled with history. Multiple old buildings and a watermill.
STOP 8: CULTURE
If it's open, we stop in one of those authentic nature cafe to eat a homemade snack.
STOP 9: LANDSCAPE
We drive to the top of the local mountain and contemplate the immensity of taiga. This is the last stop.
NOTE: You are welcome to ask the guide to stop along the way so you can take pictures.
